غطت الآلاف من كرات “البيض الجليدي” الغريبة، شاطئا في فنلندا، وهي ظاهرة جوية نادرة، تحدث فقط في ظروف خاصة للغاية. بحسب الخبراء.
وتم التقات المشهد الرائع لكرات الثلج التي يتخذ شكلها شكل البيض، وهي تغطي الشاطئ الاسكندنافي بأكمله، في جزيرة هايلوتو في خليج بوثنيا الواقع بين الساحل الغربي لفنلندا والساحل الشرقي للسويد.
وتمكن المصور الفوتوغرافي الهاوي ريستو ماتيلا، من التقاط هذا المشهد المذهل الشاطئ بشكل مفاجئ.
وعزا الخبراء السبب في هذه الظاهرة الى عملية نادرة تدفع فيها الرياح قطعا صغيرة من الجليد حتى تصبح بيضاوية الشكل.
وأشار ماتيلا إلى أن كرات الجليد امتدت على مساحة 100 قدم (نحو 30 مترا) من الشاطئ، وكان بعضها بحجم كرة القدم تقريبا، فيما كانت البقية أصغر حجما منها أو أكبر قليلا.
وأضاف ماتيلا: “كان ذلك منظرا رائعا، لم أر شيئا كهذا منذ نحو 25 عاما أعيشها في المنطقة المجاورة، وبما أني كنت أصطحب الكاميرا معي، قررت الحفاظ على هذا المنظر غير العادي للأجيال القادمة”.
وسبق أن شوهدت هذه الظاهرة في روسيا في عام 2016، عندما عثر سكان نيدا في سيبيريا على كرات عملاقة من الجليد والثلوج تغطي ساحل البحر بطول 18 كم.
