أعلن المبعوث الأممي الخاص إلى سوريا غير بيدرسون أن القرارات التي ستتخذ خلال الاجتماع الأول للجنة الدستورية السورية المقرر عقده في 30 تشرين الأول الجاري، ستعتمد وقف إجراءات توافقية وليس عبر نسبة مئوية.
وأشار بيدرسون إلى أن التركيز خلال هذا الاجتماع سيكون على الوصول إلى مخرجات عامة، وليس فرض مخرجات طرف دون آخر.
وقال بيدرسون اليوم الاثنين في إفادة صحافية إن “هذه اللجنة هي خطوة أساسية نحو المسار الصحيح والطويل، وأهم مطلب الآن هو التوصل لنتائج عملية تقود إلى تنفيذ القرار الأممي رقم 2254”.
وأضاف بيدرسون “اللجنة الدستورية يجب أن تعمل من أجل وقف المأساة السورية، وهي ملزمة داخل السياق الأممي، بإعداد وصياغة اتفاق دستوري كمساهمة للتسوية السياسية”.
